Optigard Ant Gel Bait is manufactured by Syngenta. It contains thiamethoxam 0.01%, a neonicotinoid that targets nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the ant's central nervous system, causing death. Apply 1 g per spot in cracks and crevices where ants nest or forage, and where they enter structures, indoors or outdoors. Store in a dry place away from food, children, pets and open flames.
